Under
the Standard Flood Insurance Policy, up to $30,000 in additional coverage is
available for the cost to:
·
elevate,
·
floodproof,
·
demolish, or
·
relocate
a covered building.
The increased cost must relate to complying with local or state flood laws or ordinances. ICC coverage, which is handled separately from a regular flood claim, may also be triggered if the damaged property is classified as a repetitive loss structure.
